Reports and filtering

I am a new boy to ACT having been using it for just 6 months and now trying to get some information out.

I wish to get a filtered report on "Activity Types" that have been completed.

These will be recorded to the history of an individual, and against the company they work for.

When I try to do a report I can select a "History" check box, but then I get all history with no filtering options ?

Unfortunately, that is the way the Act! system works with the built in reports.

 

Try using an Activity report, include the Completed Activities.  This will allow you to filter on the activity types.
