I am having trouble with one specific remote user database password.
I am running Act V16. I have a server and 6 remotes. All 5 remotes have worked just fine. I have updated the user credentials in Manage Users and then create a remote database. Remote users can install the .RDB, login fine, synchronize fine, everything works. I have one user that won't work.
I have update the user multiple times within the Manage User.
The name that I am typing in matches the name of the user in the Manage Users.
I have deleted database remanents on the remote machine using Act Diagnostics.
The only thing I can think of that I have not done is actually deleteing the contact and re-adding the contact, but it says that I will loose any information tied to the contact.
I can upnack and restore the remote works fine.
I am not sure what else to try. Any thoughts, I will give it a try.

Problem solved. The problem was that there were a whole bunch of users created in Manage User for this specific individual. When the admin created the Sync Set he picked one. And those credentials did not match what the remote user thought they should be. So the simple solution was to get rid of all but one of the user names for this remote user in Manage users and use the one single username in sync set.
