I have ACT Pro on a work PC.
I have an employee who works at a remote office. I created the remote database. She opened it. I see I will have to set up the host to receive incoming syncs.
I can't find instructions on how she syncs back. I read kb 15152. Towards the end of the article, I see "How To Start Synchronization From a Remote Database:", yet the internet connection is not explained.
To sumarize, I do not see in the kb where it describes how to set up the internet portion of a sync. Maybe I need to set up a vpn (haven't done this in while, and not sure how.)
The second question I have is how to do sync back from my laptop. I did this frequently about 5 years ago, and can't recall the process.

Act! Pro doesn't support internet synchronisation, a VPN (or other network connection) is required. With Act! Pro you need to have the main database opened with Act! to be able to synchronise.
