Remote Database Error - ACT!11 on Vista - single user administrator synchronizing to a laptop

Can not create a remote database - the following error is generated:

"Failed to create remote database.  Access to the path 'C:\Users\Owner\Documents etc. etc. is denied.  Please contact the administrator for more help.  Would you like to create another remote database?"

Error will occur on a new or existing database.

Re: Remote Database Error - ACT!11 on Vista - single user administrator synchronizing to a laptop

Solution: 1)  close ACT!,

              2)  go to Control Panel, select USER ACCOUNTS AND FAMILY SAFETY, USER ACCOUNTS, set User Account Control to OFF.

              3)  right click on ACT! icon, select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR, login as usual as single user administrator

              4)  go to TOOLS, SYNCHRONIZATION PANEL, CREATE REMOTE DATABASE, it should work correctly
