Reloading database after the crash

Reloaded ACT Pro 2012 V14.1.108.1 on laptop with Windows 7 and Office 2010 after a hard drive crash. Tried to load saved database .PAD file but get error message when opening: "The SQL Database instance is unavailable". What can I do to get this loaded correctly?

Thank you,

D

Re: Reloading database after the crash

Thank you Roy, I located the data files you indicated and was able to move the files. It was not clear where to locate the files but I finally did get ACT to read them in a ACT/ ACT Data/Databases file.

Re: Reloading database after the crash

The PAD file is only a pointer and not the database. The database files are the ADF and ALF files. Do you have those?
