Reinstalling ACT! after reinstalling windows 7

I had to reinstall Windows 7 on my wife's computer which had ACT! version 2010 on it and now want to reinstall the same ACT! Version 2010 12.1.181.0 on that computer. I do not have the disc but do have the serial number and the activation code. How do I do this ?

How do I reinstall her data, which I was able to back up on 2 DVD's ?

If you Private Message me your serial number, we can check to make sure we get you the appropriate download link for that.

Re: Reinstalling ACT! after reinstalling windows 7

Hi. Can you help.  Just bought new computer and reinstalled Act! Pro Version 16.1.207.0.

Although I have the serial number and activation key, it won't register and tells me I am on trial.

Regards

Hi Amber,

you will not be able to activate it due to the licencing change at the end of last year, you will need to upgrade act! to the latest version.

Licensing Software Update: Versions v17 and earlier

Re: Reinstalling ACT! after reinstalling windows 7

Thank you. It's a pity as most software allow legacy use without upgrading. I only have 30 contacts on it, so I will just uninstall it and not bother! Thanks for responses.
