Registration Error

One computer, one user, one registered copy of ACT 11, three databases.  Two open fine.  The third won't open.  Error message is: "There are not enough licenses in this database to allow you to log in."

Thanks for your help.

Re: Registration Error

Thanks Roy, I was unable to do that and wrote you back saying so.

I can open all my databases except this one and I see no way to enter a registration number.

Re: Registration Error

Sorry, I did not see the reply. Was the database converted from ACT! 6?

Re: Registration Error

No, it was created with ACT 11, imported from an excell file.

Re: Registration Error

Given that you can open other databases and that the database was created on ACT! 11, it sounds like the database may be corrupted. The only other possibility is that the database was created on another system with more user licenses and active users in the database. If your license isn't one of the licenses on the system where the database was created, you would get that error.

Re: Registration Error

Thanks for the reply.  There has never been any other ACT users on this computer.  There is one PC, one license, 4 total databases can open all except this one.  I believe the database was imported from an Excell spreadsheet.

I guess this leaves a corrupted db.  Is there a fix for that?

Thanks Roy.

Re: Registration Error

I created a new database and imported my data from the spreadsheet file again.  Looks ok now.  Thanks for the help.
