I am setting up a friend's business with all his contacts in ACT. What he wants is to run his phone through his computer.
He wants the phone to ring, callerID to of course of the name of who is calling and if it is an existing customer, ACT will jump to that contact right away so that we he picks up the phone, he already know it is Mr Smith calling and has his history in front of him.
if it is an unrecognized number, it will recognize the person is not in the database and AT LEAST give him the option to create a new entry with that phone number.
At best it should pull name and phone number from caller ID and enter them in a new contact.
What would it take to do this?
