I am using ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) Version 10.0.0.237, Hotfix 1.
When I receive an E-mail with an attached file, I can not open it, nor save it on the computer and open it. The message says the file can not be opened and is corrupt. This happens on all files even common files like a Word Document or a PDF.

A couple of basic questions:
1. Have you ever been able to open similar attachments?
2. Assuming you have, what changes have you made to your system since the last time you did open an attachment?
3. Have you made any changes to your security -- firewall, AV, etc?
4. If you have outlook can you open the same eMails?
5. If you also have cloud based eMail, can you forward the eMail there and see if you can open the attachment?
Just some thoughts that crossed my mind as I read your post.
