We recently got new macines in the office and I cannot find the original software or Serial #
i have our group ID and also confirmed my 8 licences, though we dont have a record of which are used/unused.
Need link to software download, serial # and help on used licences. pls reply....

Have you entered the new serial numbers into the Help > Register ACT! option on the server?

initially, when i do this, it shows my existing SN with the 8 users then a seperate line item with the 2 new. i go through the activation process and everything.
then, when i try to add the new users, i get the message that i "do not have enough licences in this database"
and in the "details" field is still says "there are enough licences for 8 active users in this database."

I just had a read of this ACT! Knowledge Base article -
It does say "Close and then re-open ACT! to refresh the available license count in the database" ... but only at the bottom of Email Registration.
