Hi there, we have many years of experience with and specialise in ACT.  Currently we are recognised resellers for ACT Premium 10...  and we're stuck.  This is our first post and we really hope someone out there can assist.


ACT Email error:  this is the same issue we are experiencing since upgrading from 10.0.2 to 10.0.3.  Everything appears to be fine, except ACT Email shuts down after checking for new mail without fail.  We have approx. 8 computers running ACT and already half a dozen different PC's are experieincing this same ACT Email error.


We've tried erasing ACT Preferences, recreating the email accounts, different PC's, different OS's between XP and Vista, and diferent ACT databases, e.g: ACT Demo all instances the ACT Email immediately shuts down after checking for new email.  From our position, it seems this issue is directly related to ACT update 10.0.3


Our client's organisation is being seriously affected, and we are in desperate need of support with this issue.  Any advice would be much appreciated!


Presently we are uninstalling ACT and restoring 10.0.2 on one of the PC's.

Garrett, If you find a solution to this problem would you please share it. I have been on the phone with tech support for two days and am no closer to a solution. They are supposed to call me today with a senior tech person to help. I can not use act email in Internet mail OR Outlook. This did happen once in a while before I upgraded to 10.0.3 but now happens every time since I have upgraded.
