I have a few questions about ACT. Our broker/dealer is requesting that we upgrade to Outlook 2013, however right now we have Outlook 2007 and that is compatible with the ACT 2007 software. If we upgrade to Outlook 2013 how will that effect our ACT program? Will we still be able to use it as well as do the mail merge? Lastly, we upgraded to ACT 2013 about a year ago and it was a nightmare so we really want to keep the 2007.

yes, Outlook 2007 is compatible with Act 2013. I can't imagine why moving to Act 2013 was a nightmare as it's a much more solid version of Act. Might be that whoever did the upgrade didn't completely understand the process. The only thing that will be different is the Opportunity area; your opportunities will update but the functionality was greatly improved in Act 2010.
