Question on Act 2006 version 8.

We have this software that is being used by one user. We have five licenses for this and want other people to use it. I am assuming that I can install this on one machine making it the master database and the other remote databases and turn on synchronization between main and remote databases so that every user have visibility to the updates. Is this correct approach?. If yes, how do I initially load the data that is being used by this one user and load it to the master database?. If no, what is the right approach to this?. Thanks in advance.

If all the computers are connected to the same LAN, why not just share the database over the network?

Royal, Thanks for the response. If I understand you right, I can install ACT on different machines but have them use the main database, did I understand it correctly. Thanks.
