In an environment where Outlook is connected to a Microsoft Exchange server, should ACT email integration capture sent emails via a users' smartphone?
Or does it only capture emails sent via Outlook?
Given that it does it based on a plugin i'm assuming that it only captures emails sent from Outlook but an end user is claiming that it used to capture emails sent from a smartphone and it has since stopped capturing emails sent via the phone even though it is capturing emails sent from Outlook ok.

Act! integration is client side (with Outlook) and not server side i.e. MS Exchange. So the email will not be saved. Your user may have used software on their smartphone in the past to synchronise ACT! to the smartphone, for instance HandHeld Contact, but ACT! out-of-the-box, does not enable you to save emails to ACT!, sent from the phone.
