In previous versions I was able to edit queries in in a text editor, like Word. But the 2010 version doesn't seem to allow that. Is there a method to edit texts, in the base program or pheraps an affordable add on. I think Stonefeild is $1k.
Thank you

Have you looked at the Advanced Query function(s) from the lookup menu?
This is not completely analogous to the ACT! 6 queiries but might actually be better depending upon exactly you are looking to do...

Thanks for your response.
I have used the advanced query function and that is the way I am handling this now. My issue is that I use the same VALUE (in my case a date) in the boolean logic repeatedly in a query. I can replace the Values with a new date in each portion of the logic, but ideally, I would use the find replace function of a text editor to change the value universally or I would use a variable that could be universally set. Is there a way to use a variable for a value and define it within the query?

None that I know of.
