We have Act! 2010 Premium for Web running, and having near daily issues with users being locked out of the system as login panel becomes greyed out.
The issue seems to stem from the Protexis Licensing service failing - no apparent error messages but multiple instances of the process look to be spawned, on top of extreme amounts of handles being created (85k+ after reboot) and steadily rising until point of failure.
Does anyone have any suggestions as how to progress on this issue?

I don't know if it will do you any good but you could try installing a later version of the Protexis Licensing software. Here is a link to the KB that will walk you through it.
