I have ACT 2010 and Sage 50 Accounts, I have linked them and I'm confident it's all configured correctly my questions are:
I'm having a problem importing the products from a CSV file using the following process:
STEP 1 - Go to opportunities
STEP 2 - Select the 'Product/Serviuces' Tab
STEP 3- Right Mouse click and select 'Manage Product Lists'
STEP 4 - Click 'Import'
STEP 5 - Browse to my CSV File and select it
STEP 6 - Click 'Import'
STEP 7 - I get a message that reads "275 products have been successfuly imported" and I can see my products in the list
I cannot click the OK button it's greyed out and I can only click the 'Cancel' or 'X' to close the window, when I return to the product lists the imported products are not there.
I am an administrator of the database (I created it), I run the program as administrator, I have full administrative rights across the network. The network is running MS SBS 2008 (64 Bit) with MS Win 7 Ult (32 bit) and Office 2010 Pro Plus
Ultimatley I want to create opportunities (quotes) from within ACT but get the contact information and product data from SAGE Accounts, is this possible? What's the point in linking the two programs if all I can do is import the contacts?
