Just reinstalled ACT 7 9.0 on my XP with SQL Server 05 SP 1 and .NET 2.0 SP1 and I can't get the program to launch with a MS error message that the program encountered a problem and needs to be terminated any ideas where I should start to look?

Probably left over files from the previous uninstall. Uninstall ACT! using the ACT! Uninstaller, reboot the computer and install again.
