Here is the setup
1 computer at the office with the main ACT database on it. 1 field laptop, the laptop needs to come in once a week and sync with the PC.
I start the services and when I try to sync it tells me it cant find the connection and to make sure the services are started.
My thoughts are the laptop not being on the same domain as the PC is having trouble talking over the network(laptop has win7 home so can't join domain)
