I have a client who is using Smart Tasks in Act!, and they have noticed an issue with the way they are trying to use it.
They have contacts in their database who they move through various stages, and they track this with a field on the contact record.
Contacts may move up and down the list of stages before reaching a finish point.
What my client has done is create a Smart Task, that is set to trigger the creation of a to-do for that contact when the stage field is set to a specific value.
This Smart Task works fine and runs the first time that the contact record gets updated. The problem occurs when the stage field gets changed again.
the contact may move off that stage, but move back to it at a later date, and my cient wants the Smart task to trigger the creation of another to-do if a contact is set to that specific stage again, however it only works the first time.
Is this expected behaviour of the Smart Task?
Or is there something a-miss here that I can change to have it work as intended?
Please let me know if you need any clarity on anything.
