We have been having this problem now for about a week. Each time we synch our remote databases we get through the 1st three stages then the sync stage generates the following error:
"Synchronisation has failed. Server Error Description: Synchronization failed due to an out of memory error on the server. Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. Contact your administrator for assistance. "
Can anyone offer a 'layman's terms' diagnosis and resolution to our problem?

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. This error basically means that the sync service is attempting to transfer a large amount of data, but the service is either running out of memory or timing out before the operation can be completed. To attempt to fix this, there are two things you can do:
Decrease file buffer size - see KB Article 23526 for instructions
Increase sync timeout settings - see KB Article 23416 for instructions
Make sure you restart the sync service after performing these procedures. Also, if these processes lead to a successful sync, then afterwards you will want to restore the file buffer size and sync timeout settings back to their defaults.
