I have ACT Pro 2011 and we are trying to upload the backup. Basically we have it on the server, the server is down so we are transfering the database to a desktop.
We've saved the Database, the personal files and have executed a "save as." HOWEVER, when we open the zip drive, we cannot "Open the Database" on the new computer.

Did you use the backup within the ACT! program to do the backup? If so what you need to do is a restore as on the new computer.
