I have installed ACT Premium 2008 10.02 and have the same problem, but with the file "ActExt.dll". Each time Outlook is opened a "could not install ... ActExt.dll" message appears. I have installed ACT on 14 other computers in the office and this is the first time I have encountered this problem.
Anyone Know how to resolve this?

What operating system?
What exact error message?
Can you try installing in Windows Selective startup mode as per Knowledge Base Answer ID 14499?
