Problem importing .csv files source data not appearing correctly

Using ACT by Sage 2010 Version 12.0.409.0 on Windows 7 on a single laptop. Attempting to import and data map the source fields into a new data base,  the incoming fields do not appear in a column but are all on the first line making matching impossible. How do I correct this problem have imported before but never ran into this issue.

Hi Steve,

It sounds like your .csv or import options might need some tweaking.

What file type are you selecting from the dropdown menu during the import in Act?

Perhaps try opening the .csv in Excel and resaving it as a .xlsx file for importing into Act!
