Your old database consist of 25 files and you seem to be missing some files.  Are you able to open this database in your previous version?  Run through scan/repair following the KB article below.

I was finally able to convert the database using an older employee's login & password. How do i cahnage administrator rights? I cannot login under my name, it says license only good for one person. That person has left company, how change I change license rights to my name?

Since you only have once license, the easiest way would be to rename his user info to your info.
