Problem activating ACT! Pro 2013 after reloading to my new laptop

Hello:

 

I have been using ACT! 2013 Pro (v15) and I have reload the software on my computer. 

 

I bought it new so of course I have a legitimate lincense and Serial #.

 

However, I cannot activate via internet after I typed in my Serial #. 

 

So I call ACT! customer service and the lady who picked up the phone there said she can't help me because some third party company responsible for activation went out of business.  She said there is nothing she can do because she would have to use that third party company website to convert my Serial # and Install code to get the activation code - and since that company went bankrupt early this year; she can't help and hung me up.  She was not helpful at all.

 

Is there a solution for me to activate my ACT! Pro 2013?  Your advice/help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Eric,

I don't think you will be able to activate the application as support for the application ran out in 2015, but the person you called should have mentioned that you would have to upgrade act! to  the latest version. I would have thought that you would have received an email from Swiftpage about the licencing issue.

Is the new stand alone version backward compatible with ACT! Pro 2013?
