I've been an ACT user for a long time and recently encountered an issue starting my ACT 2007 application. I am receiving the following prompt after opening:
I really could use some advise as this is the first time in over 10 years this is happened to me.

Thread moved to new post on the ACT! discussion as it is a different issue

I get the same 'Access to the path C:\Documents and Settings\..\Application Data\ACT\Act for Windows 9\DependentDlls.xml is denied' message, but I seem to have the additional problem that there is no ACT folder in the Application Data folder. So the KB fix doesn't work for me.
I just completely unistalled and reinstalled ACT with same result.
Is this a recent problem with ACT?
