Problem Starting ACT 2007 Application

I've been an ACT user for a long time and recently encountered an issue starting my ACT 2007 application.  I am receiving the following prompt after opening:

Access to the path ‘C:\Documents and Settings\”Administrator”\Application Data\Act\Act For Windows 9\DependentDlls.xml’ is denied.

I really could use some advise as this is the first time in over 10 years this is happened to me.

Thanks.

Re: Problem Starting ACT 2007 Application

I get the same 'Access to the path C:\Documents and Settings\..\Application Data\ACT\Act for Windows 9\DependentDlls.xml is denied' message, but I seem to have the additional problem that there is no ACT folder in the Application Data folder. So the KB fix doesn't work for me.

I just completely unistalled and reinstalled ACT with same result.

Is this a recent problem with ACT?
