Just converted an old Goldmine database. When I go to the Contact Access tab and mark a user as private, they disappear. Can't find them with a lookup. However, when I add a new contact to this database, I am able to mark them private and look them up with no problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is it possible that the record manager is someone else? If you are marking something private that you are not the record manager for, it would disappear from your view.
