Printing Group Reports with Sub Groups

I'm trying to print a group report that doesn't actually contain any data in the group per se, but has a considerable amount of data in a number of associated sub groups.  I know I've done this before, many times, but for some reason this time it's not working for me in any of the reports.

I've selected the group, chosen reports-->group reports-->group membership.  I've selected current group in the define filters box and indicated that I want all the sub groups for the selected groups, but when I run it it comes up empty, though there's data there and I KNOW I've run it before.  I've tried it for all of the different group reports and I've tried it for a couple of different groups with sub groups, but it's still not working.  It will work, however, if I select all groups rather than the current group.

I've also just this morning run the update for ACT, and I'm wondering am I having a senior's moment or does the update have something to do with it.

Try changing the HideOnEmptySubreport property to no.
