I've been using ACT 2010 (version 12) for 5 or 6 years, and it's getting finicky. This probably has to do with the operating system upgrades over the years.
In any case, I probably need to upgrade to the current version now.
I'm going to do the trial of ACT Premium, but will this give me a real look at what ACT Pro will be like? I had a lot of trouble with backwards compatability when I upgraded last time, and want to check for this before upgrading.
By the wya, I'm running Windows 7 on the 2 computers in my business, and I won't be using a cloud-based product..

Most of the differences between premium and Pro are in the user security area. If you're a single user there would be little reason to use the premium version. A premium database is easily changed to Pro using the ACTdiag.
