Preferences Settings Lost When ACT Closes

I can't get my preferences settings to stay when exiting ACT.  Everytime I restart I have to reset my email and other settings like "Always display country code in phone fields"
 
I'm using ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) Version 10.0.0.237, Hotfix 1
 
Can't find anything on this problem anywhere.
 
Help!!

Also, try updating to 10.01
