Postal first line

I have been experiencing the following the last couple days. When entering a new contact, the postal first line used to display the contact's name, now it displays nothing. How can I fix this. Please can anyone help????

Hello xander2053,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. When you say the "postal first line", are you referring to the Salutation (Dear xxxx)? If so, and you are using ACT! 2010, this is a reported issue, where the Salutation field is not automatically populating. However, if you save the record or refresh (F5 on your keyboard) the field will populate.
