Possible to save multiple backups at once?

I have a question regarding the ACT! Scheduler.

Can I create two backup tasks with one task backing up to an external hard drive, and another task backing up to a local drive?

Also, it seems our backup task keeps getting canceled, it may have something to do with when we remove the external hard drive. Any tips on how to handle this?

The ACT! Scheduler will only schedule 1 backup for a database.

Due to possible connection issues, we recommend that the backup be created directly on the local hard drive. The zip file can then be copied to an external drive (manually or with a backup program).

Here's an idea:

Have the ACT! scheduler run the backup, and then use the Windows scheduler (or something else) to run a script or some kind of utility that then copies your backup zip file to the external drive...

True, perhaps a little kludgey, but get's you where you want to go!
