Populating groups from opportunity process steps

I would like to set up groups based on the steps in the opportunity process. After the group is created I start setting up the dynamic group criteria but when I get to the process step selection nothing is in the Value box for any of the selections in the opportunity.

Example: In the group criteria set up you have the fields as below

TYPE                FIELD NAME   OPERATOR         VALUE

Opportunity      Process              Equal = to        (blank)

No matter what FIELD NAME I select in the FIELD NAME box I can't see any values in the VALUE box. It should show the values that are available for the FIELD NAME but any field name results in the value box blank. (The drop down has no values.)

Has anyone had any problems with this? IF so how did you fix it?

Thanks,

Does it work if you type a value in manually and then Preview?
Might be easier to use "Contains" rather than "Equal"

If I type the value in it works. This is inconsistant to the other areas that you select a value that is from a drop down list. The real problem is that you have to remember the exact value phrase.

I've been an ACT user since it came out and have never seen a version that had all the bugs fixed nomatter who the owners were. Symantic was the worst.
