Oh ... so not just using Tapi or SIP protocols.

Any plans to support VoIP systems without PABX?

Hi Mike,

 

Not in the near future as far as I am aware, there are a number of providers who already handle that type of integration so we are focusing on the business who have already made a PBX investment but wish to also have CTI.

 

This may change in the future but for the moment there is enough of a market that do have common hardware PBX’s and not many providers fully support that.

Actually, there are a few that do TAPI and Skype ... eg, I know itDial does TAPI and has drivers for most PBXs with custom TAPI APIs as well, it also does Skype.

But, none I've seen do SIP or VoIP well (except one that's only US) ... it's a common request

Fair enough, maybe something for us to consider but for the moment we are only compatible with the aforementioned list of PBX's.

 

Either way we can offer a free 30 day trial straight from our website so still may be worth a look.

I don't have a PABX, so can't test ...

Does it support ACT! on Terminal Services (or Citrix)?
how about ACT! for Web?

Do the 3rd Party Tapi PABX connections need something local on the ACT! user's machine as well?

Hi Mike,

 

The CTI for Sage ACT server that comes with the download has a demo mode that I personally use for demonstrations so you don’t need a full PBX to give it a go. 

 

I believe that Terminal services or Citrix shouldn't be an issue but we always recommend running the 30 day trial before purchase as each business infrastructure can be different.

 

There aren’t requirements for the PBX to interact directly with a user’s machine other than through our CTI software.

From your list, some are supported 1st Party and some 3rd ... the 1st Party would need local TAPI on the user's machine. Right?
