We've come across a couple of niggling little problems with dialling phone numbers in our ACT setup.
One of our users uses the ACT dialler to call numbers and start creating call history.
However on some (not all) contacts created or edited by another user, the following message appears in a message box when opening the dialler window:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
The "Number to Dial" box on the dialler is then greyed out and no number is present, and the Dial and Hang Up buttons are similarly disabled. Attempts to select an alternative number in the dialler pops up the same error message.
Second issue is that some (not all) contact phone numbers appear on the dialler window with a US prefix - "00 1" before the number, but again I can't see a pattern to this. On the contact card they are shown as standard UK numbers (01xxx) or (02xxx) etc, it is only when this number is called into the dialler that the prefix is shown.
Is there a localisation issue causing this somewhere?
Thanks in advance for all your help!

Localisation could be a problem. Ensure that the PC has all locales set to UK English. Also make sure that all ACT! user's 'My Records' have the Country field set to 'United Kingdom' - NOT UK or England or Wales etc. - must be United Kingdom.
