Outlook2007 does not fully close and requires Task Manager to End Process after installing ACT!2012 Pro on Win-7 pc

My Customer has Outlook2007 prob about 50% of the time when trying to close outlook2007.

Outlook2007 does not fully close and requires Task Manager to End Process after installing ACT!2012 Pro on Win-7 pc.

She is interfacing ACT!2012 and Outlook2007 - syncing Calenders but not Contacts.  Says prob began when she installed ACT!2012 Pro recently. Then I installed my Custom ACT! db for recruiters.

 I also have had pretty much same problem for at least a year on one of my Vista pc's running ACT!2010 and outlook2007.

Is this a known issue and can someone please point me in right direction?

Goal is for outlook2007 to close 100% successfully 100% of the time and not hang up..

Thanks Greg,

That was kinda close. As I doung deeper into the pc, saw that it had some issues also had to update to .net framework 4.0 and run outlook inbox repair tool, etc.. Thank you again. FSB

This is generally a sign of incompatible Outlook add-ons. Within Outlook, try disabling all add-ons except ACT! and Redemption, and test. If it closes correctly, reintroduce the other add-ons individually and test.
