Running 2011 pro (trial) - outlook 2007
Trying to decide to ipgrade & stay with Act or move on
can't get contacts to sync.
have removed dist. lists
changed outlook sync file to old and rebuilt
finally appears to be working
I am not a techie, just a guy trying to run a small business.
a good business axiom is to is under promise and over deliver, with Sage it appears to be over proise and under deliver.
It appears that the only way to make Act truely functional is buy a bunch of add-ons that get the program to work the way real people do. - Proper outlook sync - filtering companies & being able to do something with the filter - using functions in fields (if, and, or or calc)
That begs the question is it going to cost me $5-600 dollars to make act functional maybe I should be looking at other options. ( ie using outlook & access )
Ok sorry for rant but after using Act for 2 years, frustration level is near breaking point
