Hi, I am not able to attach an email to ACT and my history is not being recorded. I went onto Knowledge base and followed instructions on "History Fails to be recorded in ACT! After email being sent" and did everything it said. I believe the problem lies in the history que folder. I set up the file payday loans no credit check path to the folder adn when I get to item #8 when it says to highlight ACt.Outlook.Service. exe, I don't have that exact extension name. I have act.outlook.service.exe.config. Is this the problem? Bottom line is the error I get when I am in Outlook and want to record history it says " could not connect. act! application is not running. Please help!

Welcome to the Sage ACT! User Community. Please see the following KB article for suggested solutions to this issue.
The most common causes are that the address book is not properly configured or the Act.Outlook.Service.exe is not running. Hint: when looking for that service in the ACT! program files you may not see the .exe extension if you have your Windows preferences set to hide common file extensions. In this case, the service will just show as "Act.Outlook.Service" since ".exe" is a common file extension. If you are using ACT! 2012, the service will be called "Sage.ACT.Integration".
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
