Outlook does not show up in the email setup

My setup for email does not show outlook as an option

You don't mention what version of ACT and Office, but first check the system requirements of the ACT Version your are installing and then make sure you have a compatible version of Office.  For example ACT Support of Office 2010 did not begin until the release of ACT 2011.  Anything earlier you would achieve the resuilts you indicated.

 

If you do have a compatible version with your version of ACT, usually reinstalling Office then ACT will fix this.

Sorry, I have the lastest of both

Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 ver 14.0.6112.5000 (32 bit)

and

Sage ACT! Pro 2012 Version 14.0.572.0, Hot Fix 1

Should I completely uninstall both and the reinstall in any particular order?

Will I lose any of my files or settings?

i probably will have time to do it later today.

I have had success with this problem by repairing Outlook 2010. After repairing it will ask to reboot. After the computer boots up then go to Act Preferences and Outlook should show up.

I tried to repair Outlook 2010 that didn't work but I uninstalled act and reinstalled ACT 2012 and it nows shows up but doesn't sync.
