Outlook calendar integration creates notes to ACT activities

Is it usual for the calendar integration with outlook to create notes in the ACT activities? The only notes in the outlook activities that are copied to ACT are the ones that ACT put there in the first place:

I am using ACT 2008 and Outlook 2007. This happens when I do a two-way sync. It seems funny to copy that back to ACT, so all of my activities suddenly have notes attached to them. Is this normal and/or is there a way to stop it from happening? The sync works fine other than this.

Hi Chris,

Currently, this is functioning as designed. That being said, there has been feature requests submitted to change the functionality. No word on if or when that will change.

You can also submit a feature request under your name by going to http://www.act.com/community/feature/

Outlook doesn't connect the Activities to Contacts... so ACT! adds this information to know which Contact owns the activity if it changes and maintains the connection.
