Outlook and Act does not sync properly

Outlook and Act does not sync properly

I have found that when I try to sync outlook activities into ACT, it does not always pick up the recurring activities in Outlook and bring them into ACT.
 
I need to do this as my employer uses Outlook as the standard organizer so many requests originate in Outlook.
 
Anyone else come across this?
 
I can always transfer stuff out of ACT and into Outlook with no problems.
 
I am wondering if it has to do with the date ranges.
