Outlook Folder permissions are locked by ACT 11.0

Eventually, after having Outlook and ACT 11.0 open for some time, I cannot access any Outlook folders.  The message says that I do not permission.  This did not happen prior to ACT 11.0, often stops if I exit ACT 11.0, but usually requires a warm reboot.  I then open Outlook without ACT in order to regain access to the Outlook folders.

I've not seen this happen...

What version of Outlook?

What operating system?

Are there any messages in the Windows Event log at the time that might show what happened?

I am using Outlook 2003 (11.8217.8221) SP3

Windows XP

I am not sure how to access the Windows Event log.

Re: Outlook Folder permissions are locked by ACT 11.0

Start | Run

eventvwr.msc

Enter

Have a look around the time it happens in the Application or System logs for something that looks related.

Also, do you use ACTEmail client or directly to Outlook?

Is your Outlook connected to an Exchange server?

What is the EXACT error you get?

I am not sure how to access the Systems or Application logs.  How does one do that?

I am using Outlook directly and am not hooked into an Exchange server.  I access the web via RCN my internet ISP.

The error is that I cannot access my folders.  The message says I do not have permission to do so.
