Hi, Hope someone can help me with this issue please.
I'm looking for a solution to this problem that started occuring in the last few days. The following is the error message shown in Event Viewer and an onscreen dialog box.
Could not load file or assembly 'Act.Shared.Images, Version=220.127.116.11,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=ebf6b2ff4d0a08aa' or one of its dependencies.
The system cannot find the file specified.
Each time I try to open an email in Outlook, I get the error message and, It only occurs with the ACT address book attached in Outlook.
I also see a number of other error messages dealing with "Cachestore Flush" - whatever that is.
SQL Server has encountered 3 occurrence(s) of cachestore flush for the
'Bound Trees' cachestore (part of plan cache) due to some database maintenance
or reconfigure operations.

One thing I would look at is disabling any addons you use with Outlook, what version of Outlook do you use, also would be useful to know the anti virus solution you use.
Issues usually occur like the one you mentioned due to a conflict with the software, have you installed any software in the past few days maybe updates?

Good morning Terry and thanks for your reply.
I'm using Outlook 2003 with no add ons and PCTools Spyware with AntiVirus.
The configuration has been working fine all year so, I can only assume that MS update has caused the problem - although no clue what it could be.
No other software has been installed or removed.
I've tried a System Restore to early November and that didn't help

Its afternoon here! Have you tried the obvious and removing and reinstalling the ACT software?
I would do it in the order if not;
Temporarily disable antivirus and spyware solution on each repair/uninstall
Remove ACT! - then Reboot
Repair Office - again Reboot
Reinstall ACT! - apply updates
Try the integration of the ACT address book.

Didn't notice your location... of course, good afternoon :-)
A remove and reinstall is about as appealing as having a tooth pulled without novocaine !
I just don't have the time and hope that someone knows of an easier fix.

With the error saying it The system cannot find the file specified.it appears as though the addons that link ACT to Outlook have been deleted or corrupt. I would first start with reinstalling ACT. This is a simple procedure, just make sure you backup your database.
