Outlook Crashing

Several times a day my Outlook 2003 crashes and the error message says,

"Outlook experienced a serious error the last time the add in CSmiley Tonguerogram files\act\act for windows\redemption.dll was opened"

I'm on Act V. 11.0 on Windows XP

Just wondering if anyone has any idea what this means or why it is happening?

Thanks

Hi,

It looks like it is caused by a .dll file try following the act knowledgebase article " Error: "Error Retrieving the COM Class Factory for Component with CLSID {741BEEFD-AEC0-4AFF-84AF-4F6... " even though the error is not the same try the article cause this article talks about registering that .dll and see if that helps. Thanks,

Re: Outlook Crashing

Thanks,

Tried this but it is still crashing. Sometimes with the message about Act & sometimes not.

Thanks again

Re: Outlook Crashing

I have noticed that it seems to crash when I have Outlook open but not Act - Should this make a difference?
