Outlook 2007 send/receive emails not recorded in ACT! History

I had to do a clean re-install on Win7 (all updates to Win7, Office, and ACT! completed).  This included reinstalling Office 2007 (Outlook 2007) and ACT! 2009 (11.0) Version 11.1.183.0.  I have been unable to link ACT! database so that neither sent emails, from ACT! or Outlook, are not recorded in ACT! History, nor are there the ACT! icons in Outlook, to "attach', "create ACT! contact", etc.  My ACT! address book is the default book in Outlook.

 

Any suggestions, help is much appreciated.

See if any of the suggestions in KB Article 19948 help to resolve the issue.

Thank you, but no help.  I went through all the fixes listed.  Again, I have Win7 and ACT! 2007.  In Regedit there was no "Qpath".  Problem stated:  no history created in ACT! and/or no ACT! icons on any Outlook toolbars and/or no ACT! on any Menu keys.

In what order did you install ACT! and Outlook? In order for the integration to happen, Outlook must be installed and configured before ACT! is installed.

I installed Outlook then ACT!  Should I try deleting ACT! and reinstalling?

If none of the solutions in the KB I referred to resolved the issue, then uninstalling and reinstalling ACT! may help. In addition:
- Run Office Diagnostics from the Outlook Help menu before reinstalling ACT!
- Disable User Account Control (UAC) in Windows before reinstalling (from the User Accounts option in the Control Panel)
