Outlook 2003 history does not appear in ACT 2009 version 11

I have set up Outlook to be the e-mail system in ACT and until jsut recently e-mails sent from ACT appeared under the history tab and we wer able to quick attach e-mails.  Now nothing to do with e-mails is appearing in the history tab of contacts, even when sent from ACT or Quick attached.  When I quick attach from outlook it says that it will attach to ACT contacts, but i can not find any mention of the e-mail with the contact.

There are many reasons why this might be happening but first make sure that the Act.Outlook.Service.exe is running in task manager, if not this will explain why nothing is getting attached.

 

Failing this it could also be that there are some emails stuck in the history queue so you might lookup how to view this in the knowledge base www.act.com/support/kb

Act.Outlook.Service.exe is running on the server.  The data base seems to be okay.
