I have created new fields and added them to the Opportunities layout. Now when I try to use a remote computer to add new records, the fields are not formatted the same as the main and when I save the record one of them goes back to zero.

It's not ideal but probably the easiest solution will be to create the the remote database again as it's very hard to find why database changes from the host database don't synchronise correctly to the remote users.
