I am new to ACT. I have been using for a month now. I was entering opportunities for all my contacts last week with no problem. I came back this morning and I keep getting a window stating " please enter a name for this opportunity", when in fact there is a name in the field. I re-booted ACT and my computer. The message still comes up. Can anyone assist me with as to why this is happening??

This happens as soon as you open the database?
Maybe try the database repair functions as per - http://tinyurl.com/52heo6
