Opening Act Problems

When trying to open Act 11.0, all I get is

Font ‘?’ cannot be found

What is this and how do I fix it?

Re: Opening Act Problems

What operating system and service pack level are you using?

Is this a 32bit or 64bit machine?

Do you have Microsoft Office installed, if so, what version and service pack level?

thanks

Re: Opening Act Problems

I am using Outlook Express and no other word processeing software.

This started after I downloaded AVS Registry Cleaner.

Re: Opening Act Problems

Please make sure you have "Read" rights on the c:\Windows\Fonts folder and subfolders.

Also, was ACT! working prior to installing / running the AVG software?

thanks

Re: Opening Act Problems

Act was working near flawlessly prior to loading the AVS (not AVG) software.

Re: Opening Act Problems

I should add that when I place the ACT disc in and reinstall it works great........until I close the program and try to re-open it.
